I'm Jo [if it matters to you at all], and while I may not know a whole lot about computers, I certainly do love them. If you're asking yourself "why'd she join this community?", it's because I'm looking to learn more about computers. Anything and everything about them fascinates me. So, here's my story.

My computer [used, of course, since my dad doesn't know any better] is crapping out finally, and my dad and I are looking to get a new one. The option to build my own is not available, but the option to buy a brand-new one is.

I've been given three options:

-Dell
-Gateway
-HP

Now, I'd mainly use this desktop for gaming and internet. Well, mostly gaming. [Obviously some schoolwork in there too, but who does homework these days? ;)] I don't remember what ones we looked at at Best Buy [since I was in a cold-medicine-induced fog], but I can tell you the specs of the Dell we're looking at. The price range would be roughly $750-780 and under.
