Can anyone recommend a reasonably decent free (preferably open source) reporting package (think crystal reports) that I can use with C#?
My google-fu doesn't seem to be getting me anywhere with this.
Failing that, can anyone recommend some other reporting software that is reasonably priced? I am using an Express Edition of Visual Studio, and unless I'm missing something, it doesn't include Crystal Reports.
Does anyone know of a way to convert .rmvb into .avi or .wmv? I need a program that doesnt watermark the video. I prefer freebie programs or a really great program that is worth dropping money on that does more than one thing. I've tried a few programs I've found on google search but they either water mark the video or cant convert from .rmvb.
I'm having a hell of time trying to figure out what's wrong with this. I simply want a drop down list to auto-submit a form when someone selects something from it. This is what it looks like:
I've done this dozens of times before.
But when I select an option from it I get the following error:
"Object doesn't support this property or method"
Since WHEN?!
I did a google search to see if anyone else has had this problem and all I get back are tons and tons of examples of people using this exact method without a hitch.

Google has reached a deal with the owner of MySpace.com (News Corp.) to pay at least $900-million in shared advertising revenue and become the exclusive search provider for the popular online hangout.
The deal, which marries the Internet’s leading search engine with the top social-networking site, means News Corp. will have essentially paid off the bulk [...]
I have a fairly straightforward form with text input box entries for name, address, city, state, etc. When an automated form filler is used, such as Google Tool Bar Auto-Fill Option, the phone number is inserted into the name field. Phone number doesn't even show up at all in the form.
The names of the input text boxes are correct and logical. "name" for name, "address" for address, etc. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

The University of California is joining Google’s book-scanning project, throwing the weight of another 100 academic libraries behind an ambitious venture that’s under legal attack for alleged copyright infringement.
The deal covers all the libraries in UC’s 10-campus system, marking the biggest expansion of Google’s effort to convert millions of library books into digital form since [...]

ok i've picked a new web host. i googled this but couldn't make it give me an answer. i would like to transfer emails that are stored on my current host's server to the new host and make them viewable thru the new host's webmail. is this kind of thing possible? would it depend on the web host and the email program they use?
also i would like to transfer my message board as well. would it be as simple as downloading the mysql database and uploading it to the new server?
Could someone please explain, how can a designer, using Windows, use the Subversion system (remotely), which is set up on the Windows 2003 server? He should have some sort of client. I know I can do it using the Visual Studio plugin, since I'm doing the coding. However, the designer doesn't use VS. He needs a stand-alone client. The thing is - it's best if it's GUI and user friendly (drag-and-droppable kinda thing). Is there anything like that? Using Google doesn't help that much, especially since I'm not sure what to search for. I noticed something like WebDAV (protocol?) client, and it's somehow related to Subversion, but I am not sure how the whole thing works.
