I've typed with only my index finger my whole life(currently 22 years old). This is a problem. All the stress accumulates on this my index fingers and I get pain there. So I need to relearn how to type the normal way, with all five fingers to divide the stress evenly.

I understand the home row idea; and in trying to type that way, it feels extremely awkward. I always end up reverting back to one finger typing. Is there some special way I can relearn how to properly type? Maybe some special software?

I'm considering a career as a text translator, but if I can't get this typing thing straightened out, I won't last long.

The primary responsibility will be to create data-driven Flash designs from the “ground up” (from concept to execution) using ActionScript 2.0 and XML. The designs will support the company's corporate brand, and will be developed using the processes, tools and techniques approved for Flash development within the company's corporate environment. Additional duties may include Flash support and web publishing support to multiple internal clients, as well as coding of pages working with HTML and CSS.

Requirements:
• Mastery of Flash, ActionScript 2.0, Photoshop.
• Demonstrated ability to build data-driven Flash files, preferably with XML.
• 2+ Years of Flash or web development in a business environment.
• Understanding and implementation of graphic design principles and Flash optimization.
• Demonstrated experience with version control software and content management systems.
• Ability to understand, translate and define complex technical requirements and recommend solutions based on those requirements.
• Ability to comply with corporate dictated design standards and brand identity.
• Strong customer management skills, and ability to coordinate with Project Managers.
• Ability to work independently and with teams.
• Proven client interaction or consulting experience.
• Attention to detail and ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools.

Highly Desired Qualifications:
• Previous Intel experience
• Previous corporate Flash development experience
• Web Development/Design using XHTML, JavaScript, CSS and DHTML

My mother has a rather extensive collection of recipes that she wouldlike to organize using some sort of software so that she can print themout to put in a binder, make up entire meals on single sheets, etc.  Inlooking around brick-and-mortar stores, we've found pretty much nothingand I was wondering if anybody in this community had any experiencewith a particular piece of software they'd suggest.
Ease of use would be a priority, as my mother is competent but not very patient with kludgy applications.

With their refusal to upgrade to php5 and let you install any kind of third party software they have effectively rendered themselves useless to me. With that said, does anyone know of any good hosting providers with ssh access? I'm wanting to use smarty, and play around with the Zend framework so I need php5. I see that this forum recommends Dreamhost. How long have you been using it? Are they located in the U.S.? I don't know if the latter is necessary, but I guess if a host goes down and loses everyone's files, there could be a group law suit with some recovery. I don't know what to worry about the most, but I did go with a service once that suddenly disappeared. Luckily I had a techie who found the files still available somewhere and transferred them to another server for me.

I'm not a "techie". I'm also not a "designer" so if you check out my sites, please be kind on the critique of their appearance (search engine optimization and user-friendly access is my biggest concern).

I'm presently using a really cheap hosting service for one of my sites, 3ix. My son has used it for 2 yrs. with no problem. Has anyone here used them?

I have a site I need to move over to a server with Linux, MySQL, lots of database space available, lots of free software available, including PHP. 3ix offers a lot of software. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
